Hornbeam end grain butcher block from the Jura for all types of cutting
Small and very practical: slide a plate underneath to collect peelings, juices and cuts.
With the advantages of end grain wood, this board will not flake like standard beech board. When cutting, the blade penetrates very lightly into the butt wood, ensuring that the piece to be cut is completely sliced.

Maintaining your block
Designed for everyday use, our blocks gain in beauty and durability over time with proper maintenance.
Using your log for the first time :
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 spoonfuls of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use :
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to prolong their life. Never clean your log with water. All Chabret butt-wood logs are guaranteed for 6 months against all manufacturing defects, provided that all the conditions listed above have been met. Only a manufacturing defect will be taken into account.
