Still as practical as ever, the butt wood does not splinter even after several years of use. During all your cuts, the blade penetrates very slightly into the butt wood, ensuring that the piece to be cut is completely sliced.

Maintaining your log
Designed for everyday use, our logs gain in beauty and durability over time with proper maintenance.
Using your log for the first time :
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 spoonfuls of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use :
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to prolong their life. Never clean your log with water. All Chabret butt-wood logs are guaranteed for 6 months against all manufacturing defects, provided that all the conditions listed above have been met. Only a manufacturing defect will be taken into account.
