End-grain hornbeam butcher block from the Jura — perfect for all your cutting tasks.
Compact and practical: you can slide a plate underneath to collect peelings, juices, or sliced pieces.
Thanks to the end-grain design, this board won’t chip or fray like standard beech boards. With every cut, the blade penetrates slightly into the wood, ensuring a clean and complete slice every time.

Maintain your block
Designed for daily use, our blocks gain in beauty and durability over time with good maintenance.
First use of your block:
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use:
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to prolong their longevity. Never clean your log with water. All Chabret wooden end blocks are guaranteed for 6 months against any manufacturing defects, provided that all the conditions listed above have been met. Only, a possible manufacturing defect will be taken into account.
