Butcher block in end‑grain hornbeam from the Jura, perfect for all your chopping tasks.
Compact and very practical: you can slide a plate underneath to collect peelings, juices and cut pieces.
Thanks to the advantages of end‑grain construction, this board will not crumble like standard edge‑grain beech boards; the knife edge penetrates slightly into the fibers, ensuring clean cuts while preserving the blade.

Maintain your block
Designed for daily use, our blocks gain in beauty and durability over time with good maintenance.
First use of your block:
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use:
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to prolong their longevity. Never clean your log with water. All Chabret wooden end blocks are guaranteed for 6 months against any manufacturing defects, provided that all the conditions listed above have been met. Only, a possible manufacturing defect will be taken into account.
