Round butcher block in end-grain hornbeam on a matching base in solid French hornbeam, custom-made to sit at the center of your kitchen or butcher’s shop.
The rounded shape minimizes bulk while letting you work and present cuts from every angle, moving easily around the piece you are slicing.
Available options include: integrated knife slot in the end grain or on the side, paper holder compartment / drawer / door or simple waste chute storage, with a choice of paraffined or oiled block finish and a base finished in clear varnish, lacquer or stain.

Maintain your block
Designed for daily use, our blocks gain in beauty and durability over time with good maintenance.
First use of your block:
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use:
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to prolong their longevity. Never clean your log with water. All Chabret wooden end blocks are guaranteed for 6 months against any manufacturing defects, provided that all the conditions listed above have been met. Only, a possible manufacturing defect will be taken into account.
